“Call-To-Action” Best Practices
3 quick ways to increase response rates:
- With Email Communications—use buttons instead of words with links. Your call-to-action (CTA) response rate increases on average 10%.
- With Conventional Direct Mail—repeat the CTA at the bottom of the letter in a "PS" (Post Script). Your reader might scan the PS before reading the letter.
- With Outdoor Advertising—delete the "www" of web addresses. It slows down the read and isn't needed.
